Before you get started, a quick reminder:
- Prepare a complete application
- Proofread your application
- Submit all supplemental materials
- Read about our scholarship tips on completing an effective scholarship application.
Remember, applications should include a well-written personal statement and/or essays that outline/reflect your character, academic standing and career goals. Be sure to explain how receiving a scholarship will assist you in achieving these goals. You may like to include details about past and/or current academic accomplishments, intended academic major, awards, achievements or special recognition you have received, grade point average, standardized test scores, leadership, related work experiences, membership or involvement with professional societies/associations, extra-curricular activities, community service, volunteering, merit awards or class rank. Note: Please be aware of scholarship and grant fraud. Students have received fraudulent scholarship applications through the mail and encountered fraudulent postings on the Internet. Be suspicious of any scholarship advertisement that requires an application fee. The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering will never require a scholarship fee and doesn’t have paper applications.
