Recipient Requirements

Students are notified of scholarship decisions in early April and May. If you are selected, most scholarships require that you:

  1. Maintain enrollment in a qualified Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering academic plan throughout the scholarship period.
  2. Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours in fall and spring semesters, and complete 24 credits hours by the conclusion of the spring semester.
  3. Maintain a minimum of 3.00 ASU cumulative grade point average throughout the scholarship period.
  4. Maintain permanent, unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
  5. Sign a Scholarship Agreement and provide a Thank You Letter to your scholarship donor. Refer to instructions in your award letter for assistance in preparing the donor thank you letter.
  6. Attend your academic unit’s Celebration of Excellence event, if applicable.
  7. Fulfill any additional donor requirements as applicable/as indicated in the scholarship agreement.
  8. Most scholarships are not automatically renewable. Recipients must re-apply for consideration each year. Awards are not guaranteed from one year to the next.

Note:  Awards will not be processed and/or may be cancelled if required scholarship materials are not submitted by the indicated deadline.
