This scholarship is made possible by generous support from construction industry donors. Named for a Greater Phoenix charter member, the Lodine Robinson National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Scholarship is offered to women pursuing degrees which lead to a career in the construction industry.
Eligibility criteria:
- Female Student
- Enrolled in a construction-industry related program at an Arizona based institution that will result in a 4-year or 2-year degree, a certificate or journeyman status when complete. Students working towards their Master’s Degree in the approved fields of study will also be considered. Typical programs of study include:
o Engineering – Architectural, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical
o Architecture
o Construction Management
o Building Technology/Inspection
o Surveying
o CADD/BIM
o Construction Trade/Apprenticeship - Student must have completed one full “term” in her program prior to applying for the grant.
- GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or greater.
- Active participant in volunteer organizations.
